The Pinewood Derby- 2009

Not long after we were home from vacation in Georgia, we had to get ready for the pinewood derby. It was to be held in Bay city and this was Hunter's first time to go and race a car. This was Cody's last time to go as he will be 11yrs. old soon and will go from cub scouts to boy scouts. Lucky for us, Hal was off from work and we went as a family. Both the boys had a blast. At one point in the race Hunter's car came in second and the other car was already at the finishing line. Well this didn't bother Hunter. He just grabbed his car before it was at the finish line and ran back to start over for the second round. He was so happy and we just laughed and smiled and cheered him on. The boys had hog dogs for dinner that night, and the boys love them. I don't know if they loved the racing or the hot dogs more. Maybe they both tied for 1st place. Here are some fun pictures enjoy!!
