We are always surprised at "Play Time" because he won't practice at home. He did it as if he had worked on it every day. Hear are some pictures of that play. Cody was in the back and the pictures are not that great, but He was!! Hear are some pictures with the girls and the one on the right is Hannah. She has been in every class Cody has been in since Kindergarden. She is a great friend.

Hunter got a hold of my Camera!!

The other day Hunter secretly got a hold of my new camera. So when I got it back from him I checked to see if everything was still work good and it was. Hunter is quite the photographer. So here are some of the pictures he took.

As you can see these are some of Hunter's fav. toys. His pirate ship is the best.

The air plane, the safari truck, and diego's water boat can be seen all over the house some times.

We can't forget about his Super Heros- Batman is his fav.

Cody and Hunter love to play with the Batman Castle. Hunter kinda take the Castle over as well. Hey what can I say: I like Batman too. LOL

and......... we can't forget about all of these guys. A little bit of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Fantastic four, G.I. Joe, Transformers, etc...

Life gets a little better and better with Sponge Bob Square Pants, T.V., and his Frog bank!

A Special Mother- by Irma Bombeck

This poem was given to me by my Mother on Mother's Day last year. I remember not having such a great week that week before Mother's Day in 2008 and this really helped me out and got me up and going again. What would we do without our Mother's? For me, without her means.... My life would surly be lacking the Love, Joy, Pure Happiness, and a lot of laughter that my Mother freely gives everyday. Her Love of the Savior, Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father is never wavering, but strong, straight, and full of perfect light that the Gospel truly is. In this Poem I did change the parts that say "her" to "his"

THIS IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME AND I HOPE IT OPENS YOUR HEART TO. ENJOY!

A Special Mother
by: Irma Bombeck

Most women become mothers by accident, some by choice, a few by social pressures and a couple by habit.
This year nearly 100,000 women will become mothers of handicapped children. Did you ever wonder how mothers of handicapped children are chosen?
Somehow I visualize God hovering over earth selecting his instruments for propagation with great care and deliberation. As He observes, He instructs His angels to make notes in a giant ledger.

"Armstrong, Beth; son. Patron saint...give her Gerard. He's used to profanity."
"Forrest, Marjorie; daughter. Patron saint, Cecelia."
"Rutledge, Carrie; twins. Patron saint, Matthew."

Finally He passes a name to an angel and smiles, "Give her a handicapped child."
The angel is curious. "Why this one God? She's so happy."
"Exactly," smiles God, "Could I give a handicapped child to a mother who does not know laughter? That would be cruel."

"But has she patience?" asks the angel.
"I don't want her to have too much patience or she will drown in a sea of self-pity and despair. Once the shock and resentment wears off, she'll handle it."
"I watched her today. She has that feeling of self and independence that is so rare and so necessary in a mother. You see, the child I'm going to give her has his own world. She has to make her live in his world and that's not going to be easy."

"But, Lord, I don't think she even believes in you." God smiles, "No matter, I can fix that. This one is perfect - she has just enough selfishness." The angel gasps - "selfishness? is that a virtue?"
God nods. "If she can't separate herself from the child occasionally, she'll never survive. Yes, here is a woman whom I will bless with a child less than perfect. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is to be envied. She will never take for granted a 'spoken word'". She will never consider a "step" ordinary. When her child says 'Momma' for the first time, she will be present at a miracle, and will know it!"

"I will permit her to see clearly the things I see...ignorance, cruelty, prejudice....and allow her to rise above them. She will never be alone. I will be at her side every minute of every day of her life, because she is doing My work as surely as if she is here by My side".
"And what about her Patron saint?" asks the angel, his pen poised in mid-air.

God smiles, "A mirror will suffice."

To avoid the Swine Flu....... DON'T DO THIS!

Kami sent this to me and I thought it was funny. Swine Flu on the other hand is NOT FUNNY, especially in South Texas.
