VERY HAPPY- I finished my first watercolor picture. It was harder than I thought but after 6 hours it turned out great. I couldn't have done it with out Dee Scott and her great teaching and art skills. I now have it framed and on the wall in my computer room. It does look a little lonely on the wall but I am excited to start on another one soon.

Sorry this picture is a little blurry

Dee showed the others in class and said "Look at this WACKY little bird. Kristel like WACKY stuff." Haha!! Then a lady at Hobby Lobby saw my picture as I was buying the matte for it and said "He is so cute, He should be in a children's book!!" I have to admit he would look great in a children's book. My Mom just loved him as well. She is my biggest fan. She supported me in every class we went to. If I could be half the Artist she is. WOW that would be Amazing!!

P.S.- I had to add the comment I got from my Sister-in-Law Tracy. It made Mom and I laugh. I have laughed to myself all day about it and I'm thinking to add the sayings to my picture. So hear is what she said " I LOVE it! You have a gift! Great work. He would be a great uplifting fun greeting card as well. He would say "I didn't eat your ball" or "I will start my diet tomorrow" ;) Thanks Tracy!!

Love it! I agree it should be in a childrens book. I would think water color would be hard. All the running you would have to worry about. Great job!
