Happy Halloween

This Halloween Cody was a Ninja and Hunter was Harry Potter. We had a great time at the Church Halloween Party and then Trick or Treating in our Neighborhood. The boys got a ton of candy. Kami was Royalty one night and a Super Hero "Bat Girl" the next night. We also had a cool bubble-fog machine- When you poped the bubble the fog would come out. All the kids loved it. OH!! We did our pumpkins this year like a "Mr. Potatoe Head." The boys loved it and we didn't have to mess with the guts in the pumpkin. I love Halloween, but I'm glad it's over!;) Here are some pictures from both events.

A Family of Clowns!!

We got a pair of glasses and a red nose for Hal to wear for Halloween. We all had to try them out. We had more fun with that red nose than anything else.

My Dream Job!! by Cody Shields

Cody had to write about his dream job. At school they had a cute picture of him sleeping and dreaming with his thoughts above. So hear it is and this is what it says....

My dream job is to be an Astronaut. I want to go to Mars. I want to ride in a rocket. I want to wear a Astronaut suit. I want to float around the ship. I want to get some rocks out on Mars.

Super Strong

Hunter's cousins had the super strong Hulk gloves. hooray!! Hunter has wanted them for a very long time and so when he found out he could play with them, he had a blast!! We have the best cousins in the world.

Monney Party 2

We had another family party at Shilo's house. We ate hot dogs and Frito pie with all the trimmings. yummy!! So here are so more fun pictures of our family.

Kristel's B-Day

I'm 33 yrs. old, time flies when your having fun. I'm so thankful for my family, they play a huge roll in my life. Hal has let me celebrate my birthday for the whole month of October. What a great man he is. Hal got our friends from his work and we went out to eat. I had a great time, then late that night the Whole Shields family calls at the same time. Two people on Hal's phone and two on my phone. I'm not sure if I got to say good bye and thanks to everyone. So Thank You all. Then my Brother Troy calls and My phone went dead so I got the hear the voice mail- and I think it was Tanner singing me Happy Birthday and Tracy saying Happy Birthday. Thanks Guys!! Sorry I missed your call, the song was great! Here is a picture of Hal and I before we went out to eat, and the great Birthday card Cody and Hunter got me. I loved that they went and picked it out themselves.

Spelling Words

We were learning spelling words, and I wanted Cody to have fun with it so... We can write them in sand or something. I had no sand or sugar, but I did have powder sugar that I would sprinkle on top of banana nut bread muffins when I would make them. So powdered sugar it was, and it did get a little messy as you can see. It did stay on the table and Cody loved writing his words in it. Later Hunter wrote his name and the word hat. The best part was we got to lick our fingers. Next we will spell them with tiny rocks from Nannie's rock garden.

Monney Family Party!!

We went to my Aunt Maureen and Uncle Lynn's house to have a get together with all the Family. I must say that their home is the most fun place to be. The boys and all their cousins were there and boy did they have a blast. As you can see in some of the Pictures, they built a hut in one of the trees there, they played on that tree for hours. We always have a great time there and Family is the best Entertainment by far. Please enjoy these pictures. Shilo and Bryce and their kids are in the pictures as well as Gamble and Meghan's kiddos. Turkey Day, in Cuero Tx.

We went to a small Carnival in Cuero, Tx about 35-40 min's. from Victoria. We went with some friends of ours, Lorette and Wayan and family. Hal works with her at the Hospital, they are a great little family and we try to do things together as much as possible. Here are some pictures of us. The boys have never been to a carnival like this, so they loved it. Hunter's favorite was the Ferris wheel, sorry those pictures are a little dark. I'm with Hunter and Hal is with Cody. There was a super slide there and Hal got a picture of him coming down it, Hunter looks really small on the picture but that's him all the same.
